Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Consultant to work on a large construction project on one of AWN's key client's sites in the Kildare. The role will involve environmental/waste compliance auditing and reporting. Candidates should have good people skills, be driven, and also work well in a team environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of waste management programme for a large construction project together with the AWN site-based team;
- Waste and environmental auditing and support;
- Contributing to the on-going development and improvement of environmental management processes and procedures for the project;
- Training and awareness; and
- Develop working relationships with client and aim to obtain repeat business from client.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or related discipline.
- Prior experience beneficial but not essential
- Enthusiastic "self starter" comfortable working on a busy construction project
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable liaising, meeting and dealing with clients, contractors and other team members on a day to day basis
- Proficient with MS Office
- Full Clean Driving Licence or Working towards.
