School District 67 is embracing the evolving changes in education and looking for motivated educators who are actively seeking dynamic professional opportunities and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. Minimum Requirements:

  1. Possess a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.
  2. Have recent successful experience.
  3. Be willing to work in a collaborative/team environment to implement BC's Education Plan and the Redesigned Curriculum.
  4. Be prepared to work positively towards the fulfillment of the School and District goals.
  5. Have experience in differentiating and providing inclusive learning opportunities that reflect the unique needs and interests of all students.
  6. Have training/experience in the use of Quality Assessment practices.

Supporting documents must include:

  1. Cover letter and resume.
  2. BC teaching certificate and BC TQS card.
  3. Teaching Reports/Practicum Reports.
  4. Copies of university transcripts.
  5. Names and contact information of at least three supervisory references (including current supervisor) who are familiar with your professional performance with permission to contact them for employment reference purposes.

If you have recently graduated, please include references from Administrator(s) and Faculty Advisor(s). Please do not mail sealed transcripts to School District No. 67.

Compensation:

As of July 1, 2024, TTOCs are paid a daily rate ranging from $315.93 to $469.99 as per the collective agreement. Salary is based on TQS and prior experience. Under the terms of the Teacher's Collective Agreement, Teachers Teaching On Call are eligible to participate in an Extended Health Benefits plan and dental plan.
