The Role:

As a Structural Bridge Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing detailed drawings in accordance with Ministry standards and specifications. You will utilize your expertise in AutoCAD to develop accurate structure drawings, solve geometric problems, and ensure construction feasibility. Y ou will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of our projects by being an active member of the design team and developing concepts collaboratively with engineers .

The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.

2 years p roficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software (i.e. Microstation ) .

Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

Desire to be involved in the design conception (the design process).

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Structural Bridge Technician , you will join a collaborative team comprised of junior, intermediate and seasoned professionals, all deeply committed to ensuring success.

Utilizing AutoCAD to prepare structure drawings including drawing all plans, elevations, cross-sections and other details in accordance with Ministry standards and specifications .

Solving routine geometric problems involved in linear and angular dimensions, grades, elevations and alignments for bridge geometrics .

Developing arrangement of size and shape of structural components to provide good appearance .

Preparing drawings with clarity, simplicity, arithmetic, geometric accuracy and construction feasibility; and computing quantities of materials, determining unit prices, and developing cost estimates.

Developing design details, in collaboration with design engineers.
