Old Toronto Ontario, CA Lone Wolf Technologies Full time

BE PART OF BUILDING THE FUTURE.

What holds the most power for our future and our customers?

The answer is data; all fast-moving, fast-growing companies rely on data for a competitive edge in their business.

The most successful real estate brokers and agents are realizing the full data advantage by partnering with Lone Wolf for their full end-to-end real estate solution. Lone Wolf’s vision is to grow our platform with AI and Predictive Analytics to help drive user behavior and success.

If you are passionate about real estate and say “bring it on” to exciting challenges that change how agents and brokerages do business and manage their work, we have endless opportunities where you can make your mark.

Lone Wolf is actively seeking an innovative Director of Business Intelligence (BI) to join our expanding team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our reporting capabilities; leveraging data from across the company to tell end-to-end data stories that provide critical decision-making insights to our users. Additionally, you will drive the adoption and roadmap of BI services, AI, and Predictive Analytics to guide our users to success. Finally, bringing all of this information together around user behavior within our platform will empower Lone Wolf to identify the areas of software improvement and build the business needs and use cases.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  1. Gather requirements from both internal and external subject matter experts, interfacing with the product owner, to document business rules and use cases for new and existing LW products.
  2. Collaborate to define segmentation of scope and review with Product Management to ensure design requirements and technical specifications are met.
  3. Create use cases and review test cases to ensure adequate test case coverage.
  4. Organize design sessions, contributing to the overall design of new and existing products.
  5. Interface directly with internal department leaders to provide exceptional implementation, training, and support to clients.
  6. Assist with identifying and solving design flaws to increase usability.
  7. Provide content for the development of all product documentation (including marketing materials, product specs, user guides, etc.).
  8. Present on topics including product walk-throughs for internal and external audiences.
  9. Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates for their specific team.
  10. Own and manage the strategy for a product line through regular product, customer, and market analysis.
  11. Take product ideas and own the process of getting them built and launched to market.
  12. Ensure your team effectively manages the development backlog of features and bugs for your respective products.
  13. Participate in the Agile process and ensure your team are experts for your product and its users.
  14. Coach and mentor your team on effective product planning functions (user story creation, development prioritization, and project management).
  15. Drive and own the product vision for reporting including standardization of templates, dashboards, data visualization, and impact measurement frameworks.
  16. Own the measures used to define the success of your product capabilities. Success measures must be defined at inception and tracked throughout the product life cycle.
  17. Continuously build and develop best practices by monitoring industry trends and innovation opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  1. University degree or College Diploma.
  2. 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager/Director.
  3. Experience managing other product staff.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills for working with multiple departments and subject matter experts.
  6. Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent follow-up skills required.
  8. A technical aptitude for understanding technical concepts and simplifying them.
  9. Experience using a development task management system for backlog prioritization.
  10. Experience working closely with development in launching products to market.
