We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Electrician to support the maintenance and repair of railcars and locomotives. The ideal candidate will bring industrial electrical expertise and a strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in locomotives, including generators, alternators, power circuits, and control circuits.
  • Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Conduct testing to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
  • Assist with other tasks in the department as needed, including general repair work and supporting team projects.
  • Collaborate with technicians and other departments to complete repairs and projects efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company protocols during all electrical work.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and testing activities.


Qualifications:

  • Industrial electrical experience is required, particularly with generators, alternators, power circuits, and control circuits.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Locomotive electrical experience an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an industrial repair environment.
  • Relevant electrical trade certification or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to various tasks
  • Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols


Compensation & Benefit:

  • 4 DAYS WORKWEEK SCHEDULE, Monday to Thursday from 6:15am to 4:45pm.
  • $800 hiring bonus paid 6 months after hiring, subject to all applicable taxes.
  • Comprehensive group benefits package entirely funded by Ronsco, and RRSP matching (following 6 month probationary period);

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un un Électricien d’équipement industriel pour soutenir la maintenance et la réparation des wagons et des locomotives. Le candidat idéal possédera une expertise en électricité industrielle et sera capable de lire et d’interpréter des schémas électriques complexes.


Responsabilités :

  • Effectuer l’entretien, le dépannage et la réparation des systèmes électriques des locomotives, y compris les générateurs, alternateurs, circuits de puissance et circuits de commande.
  • Lire et interpréter des schémas électriques complexes, des diagrammes et des dessins techniques pour diagnostiquer et résoudre efficacement les problèmes.
  • Réaliser des tests pour s’assurer du bon fonctionnement et de la sécurité des systèmes électriques.
  • Assister aux autres tâches du département selon les besoins, y compris les travaux de réparation généraux et le soutien aux projets d'équipe.
  • Collaborer avec les techniciens et les autres départements pour mener à bien les réparations et les projets.
  • Respecter les normes de sécurité et les protocoles de l’entreprise lors de tous les travaux électriques.
  • Maintenir des dossiers précis des réparations, des inspections et des tests effectués.


Qualifications:

  • Une expérience en électricité industrielle est requise, notamment avec les générateurs, alternateurs, circuits de puissance et circuits de commande.
  • Capacité avérée à interpréter des schémas et dessins électriques complexes.
  • Une expérience en électricité de locomotives est un atout.
  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et souci du détail.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe dans un environnement de réparation industrielle.
  • Certification en électricité ou expérience équivalente.
  • Volonté de travailler dans un environnement physiquement exigeant et de s'adapter à diverses tâches
  • Conscience de la sécurité et respect des protocoles de sécurité


Compensation & Avantages:

  • HORAIRE DE TRAVAIL SUR 4 JOURS PAR SEMAINE, LUNDI à JEUDI de 6:15 à 16:45.
  • 800 $ de prime à rétention payé 6 mois après l'embauche, sous réserve de toutes les taxes applicables
