About the role:
As a General Manager at Polyalto, you will operate with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop and execute both the vision and the strategy for your business. Empowered by our decentralized model, you will be provided opportunities to stretch your sales and leadership skills. The General Manager is responsible for the strategic business plan, sales goals, financial decisions, inventory management, warehouse operations, personnel management and more.

What you’ll do:
- Drive the sales growth, operations, and financial performance of a multi-million dollar business by developing & executing a growth-oriented sales plan focused on servicing our diverse markets
- Full P&L responsibility
- Partner with key suppliers in assigned geography to optimize the relationship and supply chain
- Establish team goals & objectives, measure performance, provide feedback, develop talent and foster personal accountability
- Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset & demonstrate excellent visionary leadership
- Promote a culture which attracts & retains top talent
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:
- BA/BS Degree or substantial business experience
- Advanced sales experience; minimum 5 years
- Proven ability to lead & manage a sales force
- Knowledge of inventory management practices & processes
- Strong business writing and verbal presentation skills including story telling in both formats
- Precise ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
- Demonstrated sales leadership practices & procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
- High level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- (Preferred) – Plastics/industrial distribution experience

- Stimuler la croissance des ventes, les opérations et les performances financières d'une entreprise de plusieurs millions de dollars en élaborant et en exécutant un plan de vente axé sur la croissance et axé sur le service de nos divers marchés
- Responsabilité totale du P&L
- Collaborer avec des fournisseurs clés dans la zone géographique assignée pour optimiser la relation et la chaîne d'approvisionnement

Ce dont vous aurez besoin:
- Détenir un Baccalauréat ou avoir une expérience substantielle similaire
- Expérience avancée en vente ; minimum 5 ans
- Capacité reconnue à diriger et à gérer une force de vente
- Connaissance des pratiques et processus de gestion des stocks
- Excellentes compétences en rédaction commerciale et en présentation verbale, y compris la narration dans les deux formats
- Capacité précise à analyser et interpréter les rapports financiers
- Pratiques et procédures de leadership commercial démontrées
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de négociation
- Niveau élevé d'honnêteté, d'intégrité et de professionnalisme
- (Atout) – Expérience dans le secteur des plastiques/distribution industrielle
