In this role, you will be essential in managing commercial, industrial, commercial and maintenance/tenant improvement projects. About the Role

As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and other site workers. It is essential that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. You will read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings. Additionally, you will order and manage materials and equipment needed for projects. You will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project. Maintaining strong communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders is crucial. You will also provide training and guidance to team members as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and other site workers
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Order and manage materials and equipment needed for projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as needed


Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or in a similar position. A thorough understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and codes and regulations is essential. You should demonstrate excellence in construction safety and productivity, and possess knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations. Strong leadership and organizational skills are crucial. You should have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. We are specifically looking for candidates with Red Seal certification.



Pay range and compensation package

In exchange for your hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive package of up to $55 per hour based on experience, plus a generous benefits package.
