As a Field Claims Representative II, Property you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and resolution of intermediate property, farm and commercial claims. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise in more complex claims and policies while also delivering exceptional support to our clients over the phone and in person. Your daily interactions with clients and support of client-centric innovative solutions will be impactful to contributing to our client service culture.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and making decisions autonomously, to resolve intermediate property, farm and commercial claims.
  • Evaluating damage and preparing estimates on property losses, including attending the scene of the loss.
  • Collaborating with vendors and government officials to facilitate settlement of the loss.
  • Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
  • Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.

To Join Our Team

  • You have 3+ years of property claims experience or related industry experience.
  • You have or are open to work towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • You have a passion for assessing and solving customer centric problems and are skilled in priority management.
  • Having knowledge of construction, estimating and estimating systems is an asset.

What You Need To Know

  • You will travel regularly.
  • You have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and clear driving record.
  • You will be responsible for on-call rotational coverage.
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required during peak periods and major events.
  • Potential exposure to health and safety hazards including chemicals, noise, dust and debris.
  • You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
