What To Expect
The Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic Associate is responsible for conducting regular inspections, identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance measures. Your primary focus will be ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition to minimize downtime and maintain a safe work environment.
What you will bring to the Team:
Millwright Certificate, Industrial 433A, or Automotive certified
Minimum 2 years welding experience
Available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends; flexibility for afternoon shifts
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of high and low-voltage systems would be an asset
Plumbing and Pipe Fitting would be an asset.
Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, building blueprints, procedure manuals, and operating and maintenance manuals.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements related to maintenance.
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines while working with shifting priorities and minimal supervision
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, ensuring timely and efficient results
Able to Independently lift up to 25 kg
As The Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, You Will:
Work from a task-driven work order system performing preventative maintenance and repairs with a strong priority directed toward material handling Equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and control issues of various systems and equipment within the facility.
General building maintenance including repair of equipment such as forklifts, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Pallet Movers, Hydraulic and Mechanical Docks, Doors, Batteries, Battery changer, Lights, Ballast, and minor electrical and plumbing work.
Testing of fire and sprinkler systems, generators and sprinkler backup pumps.
Metal fabrication.
Provide training and assistance to other associates.
Clean building and grounds areas as needed and/or assigned.
Perform special projects as assigned by Management.
Compensation: $36.10 an hour to start
