Relevant du Responsable des Opérations, le Responsable Ingénierie des Procédés est responsable des tâches suivantes :

• Performance globale des travaux effectués par l'équipe d'ingénierie des procédés et de conception ;

• Gérer les activités d'ingénierie pour respecter les KPI du projet, la sécurité, les budgets, la portée, le calendrier et les normes de qualité ;

• Planifier, organiser, diriger, attribuer, surveiller et coordonner toutes les activités, travaux, ressources et outils pour atteindre les objectifs commerciaux de VTEK de manière cohérente ;

• S'assurer que tout lot de travaux d'ingénierie émis, quelle que soit la phase, est complet et vérifié, dans les délais et adéquat ;

• Assurer l'exactitude technique et la solidité de la méthode appliquée aux calculs d'ingénierie, la conformité aux exigences réglementaires, telles qu'elles s'appliquent aux livrables du projet et aux exigences de celui-ci;

• Coordonner son travail avec les parties prenantes internes et externes pour livrer un ensemble de travaux d'ingénierie intégré ;

• Examiner, approuver, développer et assurer la gouvernance pour établir et mettre en œuvre les politiques, normes et procédures de VTEK pour son équipe d'ingénierie et de conception de procédés ;

• Identifier, lors de l'examen, les problèmes techniques et les résoudre en conséquence ;

• Recruter, orienter, coacher, encadrer et effectuer des évaluations de performance et des révisions salariales de son équipe d'ingénierie et de conception;

• Fournir un plan de formation et de développement pour son équipe afin de garantir que les personnes sont formées et qu'il existe un effectif suffisant au sein de l'équipe;

• Veiller à ce que les leçons apprises, les initiatives d'amélioration continue et les meilleures pratiques soient promues et appliquées ;

• Examiner les propositions de projets et analyser les paramètres d'ingénierie et la faisabilité en fonction des besoins des parties prenantes ;

• Examiner les propositions d'ingénierie des clients et recommander des alternatives d'ingénierie (spécifications, conception, matériaux, qualité) lorsque cela est justifié;

• Être familier avec les derniers principes de conception technique, les matériaux et les meilleures pratiques et les appliquer;

• Résoudre les problèmes et les conflits au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie et de conception des procédés ;

• Soutenir le développement des affaires avec une expertise technique, des recherches, des propositions et des présentations ;

• Participer aux propositions d'ingénierie et élaborer les budgets d'ingénierie ;


Qualifications:


• Baccalauréat (ou supérieur) dans un programme pertinent.

• Plus de 10 ans d'expérience en tant qu'ingénieur procedes sur des projets majeurs.

• Expérience pertinente en gestion d'équipe

• Expérience sur de grands projets EPCM

• Expérience pertinente dans le secteur pétrolier et gazier

• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais écrits et parlés (fort bilinguisme essentiel). Canadien P. Eng. Titre fortement préféré ;

• Solides compétences interpersonnelles et compétences en négociation.

• Bonnes relations clients.

• Forte capacité à influencer les gens, en établissant la confiance et la crédibilité.

Reporting to Operation Manager, the Process Engineering Manager is responsible for the following :

Overall performance for the work performed by Process engineering and design team;

Manage engineering activities to meet project KPI’s, safety, budgets, scope, schedule, and quality standards;

Plan, organize, direct, assign, monitor and coordinate all activities, work, resources and tools to meet VTEK business objectives consistently;

Ensure any engineering work package issued, regardless of phase, is complete and verified, in time and adequate;

Ensure technical accuracy, and soundness of the method applied to engineering calculations, compliance to regulatory requirements, as it applies to project deliverables and owner requirements;

Coordinate its work with internal & external stakeholders to deliver an integrated engineering work package;

Review, approve, develop, and provide the governance, to establish and implement VTEK policies, standards, procedures for its Process engineering & design team;

Identify, during review, technical problems and resolve them accordingly;

Recruit, orientate, coach, mentor, and conduct performance assessments & salary reviews of its engineering and design team;

Provide training and development plan for its team to ensure people are trained and sufficient bench strength exists within the team;

Ensure lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices are promoted and applied;

Review project proposals and analyze engineering parameters and feasibility for stakeholder needs;

Review client engineering proposals and recommend engineering alternatives (specifications, design layout, materials, quality) where warranted;

Be familiar with the latest engineering design principles, materials and best practices and apply;

Resolve problematic issues and conflicts within Process engineering & design team;

Support business development with technical expertise, research, proposals and presentations;

Assist with engineering proposals and develop engineering budgets;




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant programme (engineering or business-related).
  • 10+ years' experience as a process engineer on major projects.
  • Relevant experience in team management
  • Experience on large EPCM projects
  • Relevant Oil and gas experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English (strong bilingualism essential). Canadian P. Eng. Title strongly preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
  • Good Customer relations.
  • Strong ability to influence people, building trust and credibility.
