JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage data center services hosted for IT and supported by IT
  • Solution design and implementation for IT Infra applications
  • Infrastructure Management, Capacity Planning, Address EOSL asset, Vendor Management, Support Strategic initiatives
  • Security, Audit and Patching Compliance
  • Rack, PDU and Material management
  • Co-ordinate and work with Power Team for any DC related work (UPS, Power, PE, Replacement)
  • Deliver e2e implementation for new and refresh of IT systems
  • Implement and govern security/DC controls, Health check and Hygiene


Data Center Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations of data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Manage physical and virtual server environments, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Own and Manage Internal and External Audits and compliance


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT infrastructure professionals.
  • Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and manage performance.


Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Capacity Planning and Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze data center capacity and performance.
  • Plan and implement capacity upgrades and optimizations to meet business needs.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data center infrastructure meets compliance standards and regulations.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure readiness.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor performance.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the data center budget.
  • Monitor expenses and optimize costs without compromising performance and security.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure project deliverables.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data center configurations and processes.
  • Generate regular reports on data center performance, capacity


Other Requirements:

  • 10 Years, Preferred BE
  • Should have experience on Linux, Rack Management, OpenStack, VMware, Windows, RHEL Satellite, PAM
  • Take care of cable management and its hygiene
  • Should have experience on SAN Switches, Storage, Backup
  • Exposure to switch, firewall and F5 connectivity
