Position Available: Deliver Driver (Class G)


Shift Available: 8:00am – 4:30pm


Main Duties
  1. Operate and drive company leased vehicle to pick up and deliver various products
  2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle
  3. Plan delivery travel schedules and service routes
  4. Load and unload cargo, goods or merchandise
  5. Provide professional and courteous customer service, delivering over established routes and accepting or making payments for goods accurately and as necessary.
  6. Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage and fuel costs and report any incidents or problems encountered
  7. May communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment.
Employment Requirements
  1. Completion of High School or GED equivalent
  2. A Class G driver's license is required.
  3. One year of safe driving experience is required along with proof of a clean driver’s abstract.
  4. Transportation of dangerous goods (TGD) certification, in-house training is provided.
  5. Able to lift - up to 50lbs repeatedly
  6. Able to pull/push a loaded pallet jack up to 2000lbs.
Experience
  1. Minimum 2 years customer service is preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years driving experience is preferred.
