We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Application Architect with expertise in both TOGAF and AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting and implementing enterprise architecture solutions that align with our business goals and technology strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud computing.
What you will do:
- Design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Document existing systems and architecture to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks using TOGAF standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical documentation and solutions.
- Lead the migration of complex, multi-tier applications to AWS.
- Implement cost-control strategies and optimize cloud resource usage.
- Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in all architecture designs.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and AWS services.
- Utilize Sparx EA or similar EA tools for modeling and documenting enterprise architecture.
Required Experience
- TOGAF certification (e.g., TOGAF 9.2 or TOGAF 10).
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture and cloud computing.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and database services in AWS.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies.
- Experience with Big Data technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Sparx or other professional EA tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and lead changes, maintaining collaborative and trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.
- Excellent judgment, critical thinking skills, and strong decision-making skills.
