Security Supervisor- Rail Transportation

We are currently seeking an exprience Security Supervisor to lead a team of security professionals at a high-profile transportaton site. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's passengers, employees, and assets. Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, support and supervision to a team of security personnel, including training, coaching and performance management
  • Supports with scheduling of security personnel
  • Maintains knowledge of the site including the operation of equipment, site plans, and relevant site documentation including post orders, guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensures all logbooks, reference documents and instruction manuals for equipment are regularly updated.
  • Participates in emergency simulations and ensures that security personnel have appropriate trainnig and information for emergency response.
  • Verifies the completion of rounds, daily officer reports, incident reports and check-sheets.

Requirements

  • Valid BC Security Guard license
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CCTV systems
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Previous security experience, preferably in high end commercial towers, hospital, college, retail, public buildings etc.
  • Proficiency with different types of fire extinguisher and other fire protection equipment, and familiarity with detection and alarm systems.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Police Foundations, Law enforcement or equivalent is an asset.
  • Bilingual communication skills (both English and French) are not required but are an asset.
