THE ROLE:
We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated project manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful project completion. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic global ecosystems.
THE PERSON:
You're a highly motivated Project Manager looking to partner with our cross functional engineering teams and external vendors to help manage a seamless relationship to complete various engineering projects as specified in the terms of the vendor agreements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Coordination between internal engineering teams and external vendors.
Familiar with third party risk management, ensuring that security compliance is followed
Liaison between various internal engineering teams and offsite third parties
Support external contractors to connect to AMD via various ways for performing their project work
Work on project for connecting external companies for data transmission and collaboration
Analyze internal process for improvement and drive automation
Seek AI opportunities for productivity improvement
Trouble-shoot daily operational incidents and tasks as needed
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience managing technical projects with third party vendors
Broad technical experience (Windows, Linux, networking) is required
In-depth knowledge of technology for information protection is required
Programming with scripts such as Bash, Perl and Python is needed
Knowledge of observability and infrastructure monitoring tools configuration is an asset
Experience with manufacturing and logistics in silicon industry is an asset
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Bachelor's degree in information security or information technology or related field.
