We are currently looking for a Warranty Technician to join our team in Laval. The role holder will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring that our customers receive efficient and quality service. The Warranty Technician will need to be able to analyze complaints, communicate with customers and suppliers, and resolve problems in a professional and proactive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate warranty claims in accordance with company policies;
- Analyze and close work orders and produce warranty claims to suppliers;
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain technical information and resolve claim-related issues;
- Manage the return of warranty parts;
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of claims;
- Maintain accurate and complete records of complaints and resolutions;
- Identify trends and recurring problems and propose improvement solutions;
- If necessary, perform any other related task related to the job.
Qualifications required:
- Experience in a heavy truck dealership (asset)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze technical data.
- Knowledge of the CDK system (asset)
