POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the building and its equipment
  • Identify and plan the nature and timing of execution of certain long-term work and ensure follow-up with management
  • Carry out short-term cleaning, installation, maintenance or minor repair work whose execution does not require a qualification card, such as the installation of accessories and devices, adjustment of doors, repairing furniture, preparing premises to be painted, cleaning appliances, installing plinths, etc.
  • Control the inventory of materials and tools required for maintenance and repairs
  • Receive requests or complaints to ensure follow-up and carry out corrective measures regarding various work and requests such as power outages, water leaks, etc.
CONSTRUCTION:
  • Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
  • Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
  • Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
  • Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A DEP in general building maintenance (an asset)
  • Relevant experience in the field
  • Good condition and physical endurance
  • Experience in personnel management
