Please note this role will work our standard office hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications:- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Pipeline Engineering preferred).
- 10 or more years experience with SAGD or cross country pipelines.
- Registration with APEGA as a professional engineer.
- Familiarity with engineering standards relevant to the oil and gas pipeline industry (including CSA, ASME, API, and Alberta Pipeline Rules).
- Awareness of the technical challenges associated with alternative fluid pipelines (CO2, hydrogen, ammonia, is an asset).
- Recent experience working with pipelines (above ground or buried).
- Awareness of Alberta OH and S Code requirements.
- Good technical knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, while dealing with people from various disciplines.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and work independently.
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills in English.
- Be comfortable working in a hybrid (office and home) environment.
- Located in the Calgary area although candidates located in Edmonton or Sarnia will also be considered.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
