Responsabilités:

L'ingénieur électrique sera en charge de :

  • Participer à la conception des plans, devis et détails électriques des projets en cours;
  • Préparer les schémas unifilaires, de contrôle, des raccordements, liste de charges et d’équipements etc.;
  • Réaliser les calculs de dimensionnement et sélection d’appareillage électrique;
  • Faire la sélection et le dimensionnement des câbles, et préparer les listes associées;
  • Planifier et détailler le réseau de mise à la terre, câbles chauffants et contrôleurs;
  • Coordonner avec le client pour définir les besoins;
  • Préparer, vérifier et émettre les devis techniques pour l’achat de matériel;
  • Faire la conception de l’électricité du bâtiment, HVAC, éclairage, prises et services;
  • Revoir les documents techniques des fournisseurs et entrepreneurs reçus, coordonner avec les autres intervenants et donner un statut a la revue tel que requis;
  • Assurer un support technique à l’équipe de chantier lors de l’exécution des travaux de construction;
  • Participer à la vérification et la production des dossiers d'appels d'offres, de clarification et d'autres documents techniques pour l’achat de composantes et de matériaux divers;
  • Superviser et travailler de concert avec les techniciens et dessinateurs attitrés aux projets;
  • Suivre les procédures VTEK lors de la préparation des documents internes;

· Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe pouvant aider à la réalisation des projets dans le domaine des terminaux de produits pétroliers le tout en relation avec l'expertise développée.

Qualifications

  • Être membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), et d’autres associations canadiennes serait un atout (APEGA);
  • Avoir plus de 10 ans d'expérience à titre d'ingénieur(e) électrique en milieu industriel;
  • Connaissance des codes canadiens et provinciaux applicables;
  • Expérience en génie conseil considéré comme un atout;
  • Bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais oral et écrit;
  • Démontrer du leadership, le sens de l'organisation, et proposer des solutions aux problèmes techniques;
  • Maîtriser les logiciels de la suite Office.
  • Bonnes habiletés de communication;
  • Bien travailler avec des échéanciers serrés;
  • Autonomie et initiative au niveau des tâches;

Responsibilities:

The Eectrical Engineer will :

· Participate in the design of plans, specifications and electrical details for current projects;

· Prepare single-line diagrams, control diagrams, connections, list of loads and equipment, etc.;

· Carry out sizing calculations and selection of electrical equipment;

· Make the selection and sizing of cables, and prepare the associated lists;

· Plan and detail the grounding network, heating cables and controllers;

· Coordinate with the client to define needs;

· Prepre, verify and issue technical quotes for the purchase of equipment;

· Design the building's electricity, HVAC, lighting, sockets and services;

· Review the technical documents received from suppliers and contractors, coordinate with other stakeholders and give a status to the review as required;

· Provide technical support to the site team during the execution of construction work;

· Participate in the verification and production of call for tenders, clarification and other technical documents for the purchase of various components and materials;

· Supervise and work in conjunction with the technicians and designers assigned to the projects;

· Follow VTEK procedures when preparing internal documents;

· Carry out any other related task that can help carry out projects in the field of petroleum product terminals, all in relation to the expertise developed.

Qualifications:

· Being a member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ), and other Canadian associations would be an asset (APEGA);

· Have more than 10 years of experience as an electrical engineer in an industrial environment;

· Knowledge of applicable Canadian and provincial codes;

· Experience in consulting engineering considered an asset;

· Good command of oral and written French and English;

· Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and propose solutions to technical problems;

· Master the Office suite software.

· Good communication skills;

· Work well with tight deadlines;

· Autonomy and initiative in terms of tasks;

· Asset: construction site experience.
