These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CEC offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best-in-class customer service and valuable, time-saving services that positions CEC as an industry leader. With 36 locations in Canada and over 150+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs.

We are currently accepting internal and external applications for the Commercial Order Management Specialist

The Opportunity:

  • Accept and process new commercial orders from Account Managers and Inside Sales Reps
  • Keep customers and sales department informed of product availability, status of their orders, and issue Order Acknowledgements
  • Make necessary changes, additions, deletions, substitutions or cancellations to equipment orders as required, including arrange for modifications to equipment
  • Work with Factory (Carrier) and outside vendor to expedite shipments
  • Release goods to meet customer requirement dates, coordinate deliveries with outside vendor items and factory product
  • Manage an open order report for date accuracy
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers, managing expectations, delivering difficult news, resolving issues

Skills and Behaviors

  • Minimum 3-5 years of strong preferred technical customer service environment, ideally in the HVAC industry.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma (preferred but not required)
  • Computer literate, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook (CloudSuite Distribution CSD ERP experience is an advantage).
  • Outstanding customer focus with experience handling customer expectations and resolving issues
  • Organized, independent worker who is able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Top notch communication skills to respond effectively to internal and external customer inquiries, with a focus on professionalism, teamwork and follow up.
