Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Director of Revenue Cycle Management

to place at our client, within Enterprise Healthcare Services.

Client: Enterprise Healthcare Services

Location: Canada or USA (Connecticut/Burlington preferred)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and optimize our revenue cycle processes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust financial background, extensive knowledge of medical billing, and proven leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the financial module of our software, ensuring seamless integration and operation of billing and financial processes.


Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the revenue cycle management team, currently consisting of 3-6 members.

- Oversee the implementation and support of the financial module of our EHR software.

- Ensure accurate and timely billing, coding, and collections processes.

- Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to streamline revenue cycle operations.

- Utilize knowledge of US medical billing and accounting principles to improve financial performance.

- Manage and develop employees, providing training and support to enhance their skills.

- Report to senior management on revenue cycle performance and improvement strategies.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry.

- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and regulations.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare informatics.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with both clinical and financial modules of EHR software.

- Prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare technology company.

- Knowledge of Canadian and US healthcare billing practices.


Location Preferences:

While we prefer candidates based in Connecticut or Burlington, we are open to qualified candidates from across the US and Canada.
