Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a Program Manager, Managed Cloud Services (MCS) to join our team to deliver Esri products as a managed service across Canada. In this exciting position, you will play a key role in establishing, leading and growing Esri Canada’s MCS offering. You will work closely with our Professional Services team, IT team, Customer Support team and Sales team to define services offerings, promote the services, help close new MCS business, define and optimize internal processes and manage client relationships. You will also help build and oversee the day-to-day operations of the MCS team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance of all cloud services engagements.


The Manager, MCS position requires supervisory experience combined with outstanding leadership, communication, presentation, customer service, analytical and project management skills. Individuals must possess excellent business and financial savvy and should have experience with resource allocation and profit & loss management. The individual should also have demonstrated experience in defining, automating and optimizing processes for the deployment, operations and management of MCS infrastructure.


Responsibilities include:

  • Work with other business units to establish and optimize processes for MCS operations.
  • Assist in pre-sales initiatives, including client presentations and the development/optimization of pricing models, and creating MCS proposals.
  • Day to day management of the assigned MCS team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Work with MCS team to monitor the Azure MCS infrastructure and customer site environments to ensure their availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage MCS engagements against budget, timeline, and scope.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security measures and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data security and availability.
  • Work with the IT team to support compliance for cloud services.
  • Act as a customer and team escalation contact as required and provide management and guidance related to the resolution of customer satisfaction concerns.
  • Promptly respond to MCS issues identified through monitoring dashboards.
  • Proactively mitigate problems to maintain service continuity and prevent customer impact.
  • Respond and resolve support items escalated by Tech Support while adhering to customer SLA.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate resources where necessary to ensure timely responses to customer issues, avoiding delays in support.
  • Collaborate with clients to schedule software updates and patches.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and competitive offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of annual budgets, strategic plans, monthly and annual forecasts, analysis, and expenses in conjunction with ongoing business requirements, priorities, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the other Esri Canada Professional Services Teams on the planning, allocation, delivery, and financial monitoring of projects in the region.
  • Participate in the global Esri MCS community.

Specific skill requirements:

  • 10+ years in the IT consulting business or related domain experience.
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience managing a cloud services, sales, operations or support team.
  • University degree (4-year program) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, business, or related field or equivalent business experiences.

La gestionnaire ou le gestionnaire, Services infonuagiques gérés, devra mener à bien les tâches suivantes :


  • Collaborer avec d’autres unités commerciales afin d’établir et d’optimiser les processus pour les opérations de services infonuagiques gérés.
  • Participer aux initiatives d’avant-vente, y compris les présentations aux clients, le développement et l’optimisation des modèles de tarification et la création de propositions de services infonuagiques gérés.
  • Gérer au quotidien l’équipe des services infonuagiques gérés qui lui a été confiée afin d’assurer la prestation de services de haute qualité.
  • Travailler avec l’équipe susmentionnée pour surveiller l’infrastructure des services infonuagiques gérés dans Azure et les environnements des sites de clients afin d’en garantir la disponibilité, les performances et la sécurité.
  • Gérer les engagements liés aux services infonuagiques gérés en fonction du budget, du calendrier et de la portée.
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe informatique pour mettre en œuvre et maintenir des mesures de sécurité et des plans de reprise après sinistre, afin de garantir la sécurité et la disponibilité des données.
  • Travailler avec l’équipe informatique pour soutenir la conformité des services infonuagiques.
  • Agir en tant que personne-ressource pour le processus d’escalade pour les clients et l’équipe, le cas échéant, et assurer la gestion et l’orientation liées à la résolution des problèmes de satisfaction des clients.
  • Répondre rapidement aux problèmes de service infonuagique géré relevés par les tableaux de bord de suivi.
  • Atténuer les problèmes de manière proactive afin de maintenir la continuité des services et d’éviter toute répercussion sur les clients.
  • Répondre aux problèmes d’assistance transférés par l’assistance technique et les résoudre tout en respectant l’entente de niveau de service du client.
  • Collaborer avec les ressources appropriées, le cas échéant, pour répondre rapidement aux problèmes des clients tout en évitant les retards dans le traitement des demandes d’assistance.
  • Collaborer avec les clients pour planifier les mises à jour et les correctifs des logiciels.
  • Se tenir au courant des tendances du secteur et des offres de la concurrence.
  • Aider à préparer et à présenter les budgets annuels, les plans stratégiques, les prévisions mensuelles et annuelles, les analyses et les dépenses en fonction des exigences opérationnelles, des priorités, des politiques et des procédures en vigueur.
  • Collaborer avec les autres équipes des services professionnels d’Esri Canada à la planification, l’allocation, la livraison et le suivi financier des projets dans la région.
  • Participer à la communauté mondiale des services infonuagiques gérés d’Esri.

Formation, expérience et aptitudes nécessaires

  • Au moins dix ans d’expérience dans le secteur des services-conseils en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Au moins deux ans d’expérience dans la gestion d’une équipe de services, de ventes, d’exploitation ou d’assistance dans le domaine infonuagique.
  • Diplôme universitaire (programme de quatre ans) en informatique, en technologies de l’information, en ingénierie, en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.
