We are partnered with an exciting, fast-growing Series A start-up on a mission to structure scattered conversations for sales teams into high-quality insights using AI. They’re looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and expand their team.


Responsibilities:


  • Recruit, develop, and expand a top-tier engineering team, addressing talent gaps as the company grows.
  • Cultivate a supportive, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
  • Ensure the team focuses on delivering impactful and delightful customer experiences.
  • Define and monitor quality and velocity metrics while managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Provide strong technical leadership, guiding software architecture and development strategy.
  • Support team growth through coaching, mentorship, and direct feedback.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to drive innovation and execution.


Requirements:


  • 10+ years in software engineering with a strong background in leading and scaling engineering teams during high-growth phases.
  • Deep understanding of modern software development, architecture, and infrastructure, with experience building and scaling complex, high-availability systems.
  • Ability to define technical strategy and make informed decisions that align short-term needs with long-term goals.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of inspiring engineers and effectively influencing stakeholders.
  • Proven success in attracting, hiring, and developing top engineering talent, with years of experience in people management.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving complex technical challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with a focus on agility and quick response to change.
  • Experienced in working cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
