Human Resources Business Partner

Join our global financial services client as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and play a pivotal role in shaping HR operations at a leading bank in Montreal. As an experienced HR professional, you'll drive strategic initiatives and cultivate a culture of excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of HR functions, influencing talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the bank's goals, fostering high performance and employee engagement.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including strategic headcount planning and negotiation.
- Innovate onboarding and offboarding programs for seamless employee integration and departure.
- Manage talent programs like performance management, succession planning, and leadership development, including oversight of Global Markets Analyst and Intern programs.
- Collaborate with department heads and global HR colleagues on talent reviews, skills assessments, and development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations, coaching managers on performance, and liaising with external counsel for internal investigations.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, promotions, ensuring alignment with market data and performance.
- Drive organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives as a change agent.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-SCP) highly desirable.
Experience Requirements:
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in the financial industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in partnering with senior executives to advance HR strategies and address complex organizational challenges.
