What will you work on:
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and troubleshoots equipment problems as required.

Boundary District Hospital is a level 1 community hospital where the large team of healthcare professionals facilitate a range of interdisciplinary healthcare services including 24/7 Emergency, surgical services, inpatient care, community health programming as well as Laboratory and X-Ray.
Community: Grand Forks is a community of around 4,000 people, considered to be the ‘hub’ of the Kootenay Boundary Region and conveniently located within a couple of hours driving of two major centers Spokane and Kelowna. This charming town is surrounded by pristine water from the Granby and Kettle Rivers. This location may be eligible for the BC Loan Forgiveness Program
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
- One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be preferred.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
