Our client is looking for a skilled Content Creator to join their team


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop content that is curated and compelling, telling a deep story about the brand to aid brand affinity and retention, using Canva and Adobe CS and Adobe Premiere
  • Create engaging reels, develop eye-catching content that align with brand voice and marketing goals across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Post regularly and consistently, ensuring that content aligns with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends.
  • Analyze performance and metrics using analytics tools to measure success and optimize strategies with the help of the Social Media Manager
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the creative studio in-person and closely, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
  • Art Direct photoshoots or video shoots along with the studio team.
  • Work collaboratively with the creative studio and social team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to keep our strategy fresh and innovative.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content creation
  • Excellent understanding of Instagram’s algorithm and features, including Reels, Stories, and IGTV.
  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps like InShot, CapCut, etc.
  • Proven experience in creating Instagram Reels or similar short-form video content for brands or personal projects.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content creation tools
  • Excellent storytelling and creative writing skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Knowledge of photography and graphic design to enhance video content.
  • Passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and engagement-boosting reels and videos
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, challenges, and popular audio on Instagram to create timely and relevant content.

Non Negotiables for the Role:

  1. 3-4+ year’s in a previous creative content creator role with a portfolio to share
  2. Previous experience playing in spaces like Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok
  3. Strong storytelling
  4. Strong conceptualizer
  5. Knowledge of photography and basic graphic design to enhance video content.
  6. Strong content creator with a focus on videos and reels (if you have long-form video experience, that’s great too)
  7. The ideal candidate should be confident shooting content and filming on a camera + phone for reels
  8. Adobe Creative Suite + Canva
  9. Must keep on top of social trends as the social landscape changes very quickly
  10. Strong understanding of audience and ability to showcase this through compelling content creation and storytelling
  11. Ability to work in a collaborative, creative, team setting at their Downtown Toronto Studio (3-4x per week in office)
  12. Passionate about social media and content creation
  13. Wants to try new things / push boundaries
