Job Description:

Creative Guild is a well-established, independent marketing and advertising agency, based in a vibrant neighborhood in Hamilton, Ontario. We specialize in providing strategy, branding, print design, and customized digital experiences. Our goal is to offer smart, strategic, and well-executed solutions for creative problems.

In addition to our core agency services, we also operate modzee Software, a cutting-edge software platform. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Growth to lead our business development efforts, forge new relationships, and drive the expansion of both Creative Guild and modzee Software. This role is integral to our senior leadership team and will have a direct impact on the long-term success of the business.


As Vice President of Growth, you’ll be asked to:

  • Lead and drive new business initiatives, targeting potential clients and partnerships in both the marketing/advertising and software sectors.
  • Expand the client base and revenue streams for both Creative Guild and modzee Software.
  • Develop, manage, and execute strategies for client acquisition and market expansion.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, both client-side and agency-side.
  • Collaborate with the management team to establish revenue goals and develop actionable plans to meet or exceed them.
  • Oversee and optimize the sales funnel for both agency services and modzee Software to ensure maximum efficiency and growth.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, focusing on upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry shifts, and emerging technologies to keep our offerings competitive and relevant.
  • Work closely with internal teams across strategy, creative, and development to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in senior leadership meetings, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making.
  • Be an ambassador of the company’s culture and mission, helping to foster a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressively more responsible roles in the marketing and advertising industry.
  • Experience on both the client-side and agency-side is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading sales and marketing initiatives for both agency services and software products.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, analytics, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
