Inclusive Innovations is an innovation consulting firm specializing in inclusive design, accessibility innovation and disability inclusion. From the largest companies to the smallest startups, we help clients apply inclusive design principles to make their products, processes and people more inclusive for people with disabilities.
Our work blends strategy, research, and innovation to create meaningful change. Our projects may include helping clients co-design and test new products or processes with the disability community, research to identify opportunities for accessibility improvements in existing products or processes, workshops on inclusive design and disability inclusion, and much more.
The Role
We are looking for a part-time Business Development Manager (10 hours per week, remote) to lead outbound outreach, secure new consulting clients, and manage existing relationships. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with deep expertise in consulting sales and/or an expansive network in diversity, inclusion, accessibility or innovation fields. They will have an established network of decision-makers in mid-to-large businesses and tech startups and a strong track record of driving revenue.
This role is performance-driven, with compensation tied to revenue generation. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with our Inclusive Design Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead outbound business development efforts to generate and close new consulting opportunities.
- Leverage existing relationships to secure high-value client engagements.
- Identify key decision-makers and create tailored outreach strategies.
- Develop compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials to communicate our value proposition.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial outreach to contract close.
- Work with the CEO to refine sales strategies and client targeting.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in business development for consulting services, ideally within accessibility, DEI or product innovation.
- Strong network of industry contacts and experience engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers.
- Skilled in building relationships, identifying client needs, and crafting solutions that drive business growth.
- Ability to craft compelling proposals and sales presentations that drive client interest.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Compensation & Commitment
- Part-time: Up to 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: Base salary + up to 20% commission tied to revenue. Please note that the bulk of the compensation will be derived from commission in this role.
