Bilingual Network Operations Analyst

The Network Operations Analyst will be part of the Network Operations team, and their primary objective will be to ensure the proper functioning of managed networks, which shall include maintenance, monitoring, management, and troubleshooting issues. They will be able to communicate effectively with customers and offer remote support. They will be skilled and experienced in Firewalls, IP Routing/Switching, WAN, and Wireless technologies. The successful candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to work well within a team and independently. They shall be working remotely full-time and must be residing within Canada.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II support for networking issues by working on tickets and resolving them quickly.
- Perform regular analysis of network connectivity through the LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices for clients.
- Configuration and management of networking tools.
- Analyze network management data and compile reports as necessary.
- Provide technical support in Routing/Switching, Firewall, VOIP, and Load-balancing technologies.
- Provide expert technical assistance to clients and our Service Desk.
- Provide suggestions and recommendations to clients.
- Work with ISPs and other vendors to troubleshoot issues.
- Work on-call on a rotational basis and conduct maintenance activities outside office hours occasionally.
Qualifications
- 2+ years working in core networking technologies like routing and switching.
- Bilingual French and English is REQUIRED.
- Hands-on experience working and troubleshooting in a production network.
- CCNA is required (Routing & Switching).
- CCNP Enterprise is a plus.
- A thorough understanding of enterprise routing and switching solutions (VRFs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, STP, VPC, etc.).
- A thorough understanding of firewalls and wireless technologies. Experience in Fortinet, Cisco & Meraki firewalls is a plus.
- A thorough understanding of VPN technologies (e.g., DMVPN, IPSEC-VPN, SSL VPN, etc.).
- Knowledge in Load-balancers and VOIP technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge in scripting or programming is a plus.
- Understanding of SNMP technology and familiarity with network monitoring.
- Skilled and well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
