Job Title: Business Analyst - SAP MRP Specialist

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Language: French & English

We are looking for a Business Analyst - SAP MRP Specialist for one of our clients. This expert will participate in recommending improvements and coordinating the improvements already underway in the supply chain from an end-to-end MRP perspective in order to use the full potential of SAP and improve data quality.

Working mode: Hybrid (1 day/week in-person at the Montreal office)

The expert will be responsible for understanding the big picture and proposing solutions that take into account supply chain best practices, business processes, company objectives and systems positioned by the company while maximizing the use of data with the SAP system.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support for the implementation of material supply planning processes in SAP (strategic, tactical & operational).
  • Collaborate with the client's team to optimize demand management processes (Forecasting and S&OP).
  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the existing MRP operating mode and propose recommendations for improvements.
  • Contribute to the activities of the supply chain management maturity roadmap to achieve the group's objectives.
  • Participate in the implementation of a material procurement planning standard from an end-to-end perspective (strategic, tactical, operational).
  • Understand the internal processes of stakeholders in order to facilitate the transition by ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Participate in the analysis and prioritization of business requirements that require change management.
  • Participate in the implementation of changes to be made to business processes and work procedures.
  • Support the project manager in reporting them.
Requirements and Qualifications Required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a functional manager or business analyst in a SAP environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one large-scale project for the development and implementation of information systems affecting logistics and procurement;
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain activities (planning, logistics) and its optimization;
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing an MRP in a company;
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP supply and logistics modules;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French;
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders from different sectors;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Experience in business process modeling and transformation (asset);
  • Experience with Agile approaches, such as SCRUM, DevOps (asset);
  • Knowledge of the energy sector (asset).
