Job Title: Chief of Staff


Summary of the position:


Credit Agricole CIB Canada is looking for a dynamic candidate to be the Chief of Staff to Canada Management Team.


Credit Agricole CIB Canada (“CACIB Canada”) is part of the Credit Agricole Group, a world leading financial institution.


CACIB Canada has a senior commercial team of about 20 employees based in Montreal and Toronto working with our international network and product lines to support large Canadian clients in their international development. CACIB Canada hosts an IT & Operation platform including over 200 employees and consultants supporting the back-office operations of the Americas.


CACIB Canada Management Team is composed of 10 senior executives from Commercial, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Audit, IT and Operations.


In this role, the Chief of Staff will serve as our project manager and supervisor of our administrative team, providing Canada Management Team support on strategic initiatives, preparation of key presentations, manage general secretary functions of main governance committees, write and update relevant internal procedures in coordination with business lines. Transvers projects will mostly involve IT & Operations strategic evolutions and business related transformations. The administrative team under the Chief of Staff supervision will include an Office Assistant and an Executive Assistant.


Key Responsibilities:


The Chief of Staff is in charge of:

- Adapting to local environments

- Updating and maintaining all relevant procedures of the bank in coordination with the business lines

- Taking minutes of main governance committees

- Project management consisting in supporting and leading the coordination of strategic IT, Operations and the business’s future potential transformations

- Manage the administrative pool with an Office Assistant (in charge of reception, travels and expense reports) and an Executive Assistant (in charge of agendas, senior management support, and internal & external events)


Required qualifications:


- Strategic understanding of IT, Operations and Corporate & Investment Banking sectors

- Post-secondary education

- 7+ years of experience in a relevant environment

- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written in French and English (You will need to service Anglophone clients and work with Anglophone colleagues)

- Experienced project manager with ability coordinate with multiple stakeholders

- Strong writing, powerpoint and presentation skills

- Ability to multi-task and work independently within time constraints

- Strong follow-up and organizational skills with an attention to detail

L'équipe de direction de CACIB Canada est composée de 10 dirigeants représentant les services commerciaux, les finances, les ressources humaines, le service juridique, les services informatiques et les opérations.


Dans ce rôle, le chef de cabinet sera notre gestionnaire de projet et le superviseur de notre équipe administrative, apportant le soutien de l'équipe de gestion du Canada sur les initiatives stratégiques, la préparation des présentations clés, la gestion des fonctions de secrétaire général des comités de gouvernance principaux, la rédaction et la mise à jour des procédures internes pertinentes en coordination avec les lignes d'affaires. Les projets transversaux concerneront principalement les évolutions stratégiques de la TI et des opérations et les transformations relatives à l'entreprise. L'équipe administrative placée sous la supervision du chef de cabinet comprendra un(e) assistant(e) de bureau et un(e) assistant(e) exécutif(ve).


Responsabilités principales :


Le chef de cabinet est chargé de:

- S'adapter aux environnements locaux

- Mettre à jour et maintenir toutes les procédures pertinentes de la banque en coordination avec les lignes d'affaires

- Rédiger les procès-verbaux des principaux comités de gouvernance

- La gestion de projet consistant à soutenir et à diriger la coordination des transformations stratégiques de l'informatique, des opérations et du potentiel futur de l'entreprise

- Gérer le soutien administratif avec un(e) assistant(e) de bureau (en charge de la réception, des voyages et des notes de frais) et un(e) assistant(e) exécutif(ve) (en charge des agendas, du soutien à la direction générale et des événements internes et externes)


Qualifications requises :


- Compréhension stratégique des secteurs de l'informatique, des opérations et de la banque de financement et d'investissement

- Formation post-secondaire

- 7+ ans d'expérience dans un environnement pertinent

- Capacité à communiquer efficacement, à l'oral et à l'écrit, en français et en anglais (vous devrez servir des clients anglophones et travailler avec des collègues anglophones)

- Gestionnaire de projet expérimenté, capable de coordonner les activités de plusieurs parties prenantes

- Solides compétences en matière de rédaction, de PowerPoint et de présentation

- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à travailler de manière indépendante en respectant les contraintes de temps

- Solides compétences en matière de suivi et d'organisation, avec un grand souci du détail
