Role Description

This is a part-time role with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role. The Chauffeur role is based in Calgary, AB. and may include out-of-town trips to Banff, Lake Louise, other towns in southern Alberta, and the USA. The Chauffeur will be responsible for executing safe and timely transportation services, ensuring customer satisfaction, basic vehicle maintenance, and overseeing front-line operations efficiently. The employment is insurable but not pensionable. The compensation structure includes an hourly rate ($25-$40 per hour) and a gratuity/tip (15%-30% of base rate).


Qualifications

  • Candidates must be a Permit Resident or Citizen of Canada
  • Candidates must possess a Class 4 or Class 2 driver's license registered in Alberta.
  • A valid Taxi Driver's License (TDL) issued by the Calgary Livery Vehicle for Hire office is mandatory.
  • Previous experience as an Uber driver, courier truck driver (Amazon, Canada Post, Purolator, etc.) or commercial truck driver in Canada is mandatory.
  • Customer Service experience is considered a valuable asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Calgary roads and routes
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness and time management skills are required
