Calgary, Canada Ryder System Full time

We are seeking a Daytime Delivery Driver to bring tobacco products to small retail outlets.

This role will be a full time, permanent role, working Tuesday to Friday from 7am to 5 pm most days.

$23 per hour, plus benefits.
- About the position:_

**Essential Functions**
- Responsible to drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner. Conduct pre and post vehicle inspection
- Responsible to deliver products to our clients/customers and provide superior customer service
- Collect products for returns according to instructions and provide the customer a credit note
- Conduct pre and post vehicle inspection
- Complete the administration and paperwork
- Record order discrepancies and inform the Dispatch Office for resolution (adjustment transactions)

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner. Safety as first priority required
- Capacity to drive-in all-weather conditions and temperature changing environment required
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry 35 lbs. for 8 to 10 hours daily required
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) required
- Demonstrates customer service skills required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills required
- Highly thorough and dependable Must have professional appearance required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices required

**Qualifications**
- H.S. Diploma/GED preferred
- Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable driving experience required
- Must not have more than 1 moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months required
- Drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner expert required
- Valid Driver's License (G/Class 5) required

- Responsable de livrer des produits à nos clients / clients et de fournir un service à la clientèle supérieur
- Collectez les produits pour les retours conformément aux instructions et fournissez au client une note de crédit
- Effectuer l’inspection avant et après l’inspection du véhicule
- Compléter l’administration et la paperasse
- Consigner les écarts de commande et informer le bureau de répartition de la résolution (transactions d’ajustement)

**Compétences et capacités**
- Capacité de conduire une fourgonnette de livraison de manière sûre et responsable
- La sécurité comme première priorité
- Capacité de conduire dans des conditions météorologiques et un environnement qui change de température
- Doit être capable de soulever / transporter fréquemment 35 lb pendant 8 à 10 heures par jour
- Capacité de créer et de maintenir des relations professionnelles à tous les niveaux de l’organisation (pairs, groupes de travail, clients, superviseurs)
- Démontre des compétences en service à la clientèle
- Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et en tant que membre d’une équipe
- Capable de multitâche, très organisé, avec d’excellentes compétences en gestion du temps
- Très complet et fiable
- Doit avoir une apparence professionnelle
- Solides compétences en communication verbale et écrite
- Souci du détail avec d’excellentes pratiques de suivi

**Qualifications requises**
- Diplôme H.S. / GED préféré
- Doit avoir un minimum de 9 mois d’expérience de conduite vérifiable requise
- Ne doit pas avoir plus d’une infraction de déménagement ou d’accidents (autre chose que le stationnement) au cours des 12 derniers mois., requis
- Permis de conduire valide (G/classe 5)
