Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to develop a solution requirements document for a large automatic payment enrolment project.

This position is hybrid, three days on-site and two days remote.


Must Have:

  • Business Analysis certification (IIBA, PMI, etc.)
  • Extensive experience developing business case documents
  • Experience preparing and facilitating JAD sessions
  • Canadian Post-Secondary degree/Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance


Tasks Include, but are not Limited to:

  • Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives.
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
  • Evaluate existing process flows, procedures and methods.
  • Define and document interfaces of automated and manual operation within application systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
  • Establish acceptance test criteria with clients.
  • Support and use the selected departmental methodologies.
  • Plan, manage, and report on Business Analysis activities.
  • Elicit, analyze, manage, and communicate business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
  • Verify that solution requirements trace back to the business need through stakeholder/business requirements.
  • Verify that all business/stakeholder requirements are covered by solution requirements and designs.
  • Secure approval of business analysis artifacts.
  • Identify and analyze risks and issues.
  • Assess impact of change requests on requirements.
  • Attend meetings with business and technical partners to discuss the development of solution requirements as needed.
