POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Advisor's Required Responsibilities, Including But Not Limited To:

  1. Responsible for establishing rapport and trust with customers.
  2. Documenting vehicle problems by listening to customers describe them and by asking probing questions.
  3. Maintaining extensive contact with customers, providing estimates on service and repairs before jobs are begun, explaining the appointments/scheduling systems to customers, and establishing with customers the method of payment for repairs (cash, warranty, etc.).
  4. Constantly communicates with Technicians to obtain information on needed vehicle repairs. Ensuring to contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
  5. Advises customers on the care of their vehicle and the value of maintaining their vehicles.
  6. Scheduling service appointments.
  7. Recommending additional maintenance and repair services to customers when appropriate.
  8. Helping find solutions to customer inquiries and complaints.
  9. Handling phone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and returning phone messages promptly.
  10. Should be capable of working independently, managing his or her time and work flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
