This position reports into the VP of Demand and oversees the Market Operations team with direct reports. The primary objective of the Market Operations team is to drive global demand and foster growth with our publisher clients, both new and existing. As a Market Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Demand Team, working diligently to provide operational support to the global demand inquiries while increasing monetization of our clients’ inventory. This position requires a passionate and proactive approach to managing and increasing demand, ensuring Triton’s continued success and expansion in the global market.

The Market Operations Manager will:

  1. Translate the strategy into functional objectives and communicate effectively across the unit.
  2. Be responsible for performance to budget and to establish goals for the unit.
  3. Establish and maintain routine communication with critical stakeholders across the company.
  4. Inspire people and encourage teamwork; being open-minded and flexible to new thinking.
  5. Work with the product team to ensure the programmatic platform is operating with accuracy and is scalable, so partners can work efficiently and increase revenue.
  6. Oversee the analysts’ team which:
  1. Successfully answers requests from demand sources: DSPs, buyers, and sales houses for programmatic and traditional inquiries.
  2. Creates market trends reports and dashboards (advertising and measurement).
  3. Works closely with demand sources on inventory forecasts, updates on new publishers & inventory levels, including detailed inventories profile.
  4. Works with potential partners in creating monetization models.
  5. Analyzes inventory utilization & advises on revenue optimization for supply partners.
Establish goals and tactics for:
  1. Global demand sourcing and harvesting.
  2. Global supply fostering.
Coordinate with marketing to ensure that:
  1. Triton programmatic marketing and communication documents are up to date and relevant.
  2. Communications to demand and supply partners are crafted and sent frequently.
  3. Case studies and articles are frequently generated and shared internally and externally.
  4. Market insights, reports, and rankers are shared internally, routinely.

Education, Desired Skills & Experience:
• Entrepreneurial business degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years of prior supervisory responsibility & strong leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of the direct and programmatic advertising ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of server-side ad insertion and the online audio ecosystem intricacies.
• Experience with scheduling, trafficking, and managing direct and programmatic campaigns.
• A proven track record of innovation in operations and business performance.
• Must have the openness and capacity to seek new opportunities and ways of doing things.
• Ability to anticipate trends and future needs of customers and respond with new ideas.
• Must also be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and partners.
• Experience with audience and campaign measurement platforms.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and understand new areas of data.
• Experience with reporting, BI tools, and spreadsheets, such as Metamarkets, Looker, etc.
• Familiarity with online music services preferred.
• Familiarity with podcast networks and platforms is preferred.
