We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer SSV who will report to the team leader SSV. As part of your role, you’ll directly contribute to the company’s success by innovating and continuously improving its products. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Design, prototype, validate and release parts to production by following a rigorous development process.
  • Perform studies, analyses and calculations to guide project development and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance criteria and validation plans and ensure that they are implemented.
  • Collaborate with the Design, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Production teams at various stages of the product development process.
  • Develop the vision to guide the systems development under your responsibility.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or revelant equivalence.
  • Experience in the design or manufacturing of mechanical components.
  • Knowledge of Catia, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of French and English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis.
  • Enjoy teamwork and learning every day.
