Position Overview: In this entry-level role, you'll support the Marketing Manager in coordinating on a range of digital and traditional marketing campaigns that will drive our automotive dealerships' online presence and reach. You'll collaborate with internal leadership and vendors, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, and use your growing knowledge of digital and traditional tactics to accelerate traffic, generate leads, and increase customer loyalty.


Location: This role is will by Hybrid in the Greater Edmonton Area.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of advertising strategies and creatives across multiple channels, including paid search, social media, email, direct mail, TV, radio, print, and OOH.


  • Communication: Liaise with the broader marketing team and dealership managers to determine priorities and monthly budgets.


  • Event Coordination: Help plan and execute dealership events such as sales events, model launches, customer appreciation events, and sponsorship activations.


  • Vendor Management: Keep agencies and vendors on target, and assist in evaluating their performance.


  • Compliance & Alignment: Work with Manufacturer Marketing Representatives to coordinate and align their marketing efforts with our localized campaigns, ensuring compliance of all marketing materials and websites.


  • Reporting & Analytics: Maintain monthly advertising budgets, track and report on key metrics including website traffic, showroom traffic, sales, internet leads, and phone calls.


  • Digital Presence: Assist with maintaining and updating dealership websites, managing local listings, and overseeing social media sites.


  • Email Marketing: Assist in managing and executing email blasts.


  • Advertising Co-Op: Manage advertising Co-Op Programs.


  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the marketing department.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 1-2 years of professional or co-op based marketing experience, preferably in digital marketing.


  • Skills: General knowledge of digital marketing tactics including paid search (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), SEO, social media (paid and organic), and video marketing.


  • Tools: Experience with Excel is critical. Google Analytics (GA4), and other analytics tools to interpret, analyze, and leverage data effectively will be ideal.


  • Data-Driven: Proven experience using data and metrics to evaluate campaign impact, measure ROI, and drive improvements.


  • Automotive Experience: A plus but not required


  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.


  • Communication: Strong communication skills, including presenting metrics and results to middle-leadership.


  • Education: BCom/BS/BA degree required.
