About Our Client: Our client is an independent wholesale distributor of electrical products.
Position Scope: The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, ensuring that HUDCO’s customers receive top-tier service and support for their electrical supply needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in an in-store sales environment along with outside sales, with a strong focus on account management and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with their internal teams to provide product recommendations, manage orders, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5pm (on site)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and business growth.
- Provide excellent in-store customer service, assisting clients with product selection, pricing, and order fulfillment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls/emails for order management, product inquiries, and account updates.
- Occasionally perform outside sales visits to key clients, building relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Assist with order processing, inventory management, and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account progress in CRM systems.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while providing exceptional service.
- Seeks opportunities to recommend additional products when appropriate.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of electrical supplies, components, or related products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer service, within the electrical or construction supply industry.
- Relevant education is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license for occasional outside sales visits.
