We're hiring an Accounting/Compliance Senior Manager to lead and support our clients in a fully remote capacity. As a dynamic leader and self-starter, you will take full ownership of your client portfolio, driving exceptional results and ensuring the highest standards of service. You should be proficient with modern communication and task-management tools so that we can all collaborate effectively.
Main responsibilities:
✅ Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks, and ways to deliver added value
✅ Lead client-facing interactions to complete and review compilations and tax engagements
✅ Accountable for engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
✅ Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management
Duties & functions:
The duties and functions of the Accounting/Compliance Senior Manager will include but not be limited to:
️ Work directly with clients and the internal team to advise on accounting and compliance strategies
Preparation and review of compilations and tax engagements
️ Preparation and review of personal income tax returns
️ Preparation and review of of limited partnership returns
️ Preparation and review of trust returns
General management of deadlines and day-to-day planning of workflow
Preparation of reports and memos related to the services
Communicate with clients and government agencies
Train and mentor team members, enhancing their skills and ensuring continuous professional development
️ Manage and oversee the performance of the team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations
Qualifications:
⭐ CPA designation
⭐ 7+ years of relevant public accounting experience
⭐ Extensive understanding of business, accounting, and management
⭐ Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues to clients
⭐ Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills
⭐ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
⭐ Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in French is preferred
⭐ Knowledge of CaseWare, Taxprep and QuickBooks Online

Nous recrutons un directeur principal de la comptabilité/conformité pour diriger et soutenir nos clients à distance. En tant que leader dynamique et entreprenant, vous prendrez pleinement en charge votre portefeuille de clients, obtenant des résultats exceptionnels et garantissant les normes de service les plus élevées. Vous devez maîtriser les outils modernes de communication et de gestion des tâches afin que nous puissions tous collaborer efficacement.
Principales responsabilités:
✅ Gérer un portefeuille de clients tout en comprenant leur activité, les principaux risques et les moyens d'apporter de la valeur ajoutée
✅ Diriger les interactions avec les clients pour compléter et réviser les compilations et les missions fiscales
✅ Responsable de la planification des engagements, du calendrier et des finances du projet (c'est-à-dire les budgets, WIPS, facturation en temps opportun, recouvrement, reconnaissance des écarts)
✅ Contribuer à la planification stratégique et opérationnelle liée à la gestion des clients et de la pratique
Devoirs et fonctions :
Les devoirs et fonctions du directeur principal de la comptabilité/conformité comprendront, sans toutefois s'y limiter :
️ Travailler directement avec les clients et l'équipe interne pour les conseiller sur les stratégies de comptabilité et de conformité
Préparation et révision des compilations et missions fiscales
️ Préparation et révision des déclarations de revenus des personnes physiques
️ Préparation et révision des déclarations de sociétés en commandite
️ Préparation et examen des déclarations de fiducie
Gestion générale des délais et planification quotidienne du workflow
Préparation des rapports et mémos liés aux prestations
Communiquer avec les clients et les agences gouvernementales
Former et encadrer les membres de l'équipe, en améliorant leurs compétences et en assurant un développement professionnel continu
️ Gérer et superviser les performances de l'équipe, en fournissant des conseils et des commentaires pour garantir un travail de haute qualité et des opérations efficaces
Qualifications :
⭐ Titre CPA
⭐ Plus de 7 ans d'expérience pertinente en comptabilité publique
⭐ Compréhension approfondie des affaires, de la comptabilité et de la gestion
⭐ Compétences supérieures en communication verbale et écrite avec une capacité avérée à expliquer clairement des questions fiscales et commerciales complexes aux clients
⭐ Solides compétences en planification stratégique et en réflexion conceptuelle
⭐ Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante dans un environnement dynamique et axé sur l'équipe
⭐ La capacité de parler, lire et écrire couramment le français est préférable
⭐ Connaissance de CaseWare, Taxprep et QuickBooks en ligne
