Our client, a well-known retailer is seeking a talented Email Designer to join their team. This is a remote, 40 hour a week assignment, starting for 6 months with potential for extension. 31/hr


Responsibilities:


· Create and execute the visual design for email, which includes working on stakeholder revisions, building out French assets, and exporting and delivering final assets.


· Work closely with lead email designer and email specialist to produce on average 14 emails per week.


· Work within established brand guidelines, templates, and timelines to create email collateral related to seasonal marketing strategies and tactics.


· Prepare files using Adobe programs (XD, Photoshop & Illustrator).


· Follow processes and workback schedules to ensure an efficient workflow for content production.


· Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.


· Edit photography as needed.


Required Skills and Experience


· Minimum 5 years experience in design or visual related industry with a strong design portfolio in online channels.


· Proficiency in Figma and Adobe programs, including but not limited to XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects. This includes photo retouching, file optimization and preparing files for print.


· Ability to work and maintain brand standards and design guidelines.


· Ability to image source.


· Ability to meet deadlines, self-manage time and work effectively in a high-activity work environment.


· Team player with strong communication skills.


· Willingness to learn new skills.


· Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow a regimented workflow.


· Solid comprehension of user interface design and information architecture.


· Knowledge of website, email, UX, and UI design is an asset.


· Knowledge of animation and motion design is an asset.


· Ability to work and stay connected in a remote/virtual setting.


· Bilingual or ability to read French is an asset
