Our Brentwood Branch is located right at our Burnaby Head Office. You’ll be independently managing this location so the ideal candidate would need to have sound judgement and the ability to juggle competing priorities. You’ll be leading a small team of road agents.

Requirements
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- 1+ year experience in an insurance sales environment
- 1+ year experience in auto insurance
- Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
- Excellent Insurance Product knowledge
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
A Day in the Life
- In collaboration with the Leadership team, work towards the development of a high performing and engaged team
- Provide feedback to the manager or supervisor for team member performance reviews
- Maximize resources through effective scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all insurer (ICBC, CNS, Family etc.), Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations
- Ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documents and funds
- Support the continuous improvement, organization and efficiency of the branch
- Maintain strict confidentiality in regard to all corporate and employee issues
- Manage sales, retention and service needs of clients, balancing between Insurance Advisor and Team Lead duties as appropriate
- Handle and resolve client and dealership concerns in a positive proactive fashion
- Occasionally act as backup at the dealership, if required
- Ensure employees are connected to HUB in the bigger picture and understand the mission, values and goals of HUB
- Stay current on education and training courses available and continue to develop your skills
- Provide guidance and support to the team and lead by example
- Delegate tasks as appropriate

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
