Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Saint John, NB. This temporary position offers a competitive salary of $20-21 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and guaranteeing timely and correct payroll processing.
- Pay rate: $20-$21/hour.
- Location: Saint John, NB
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
- FT starts at 40 hours a week and goes up to 60.
- OT hours at time and half after 40.
- Managing and maintaining employee payroll data
- Ensuring the accuracy of timesheets and related documentation
- Computing wages and managing payroll deductions
- Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Responding to payroll inquiries from employees
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee information
- Verify and process payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and leave balances
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist in payroll audits and reconciliations
- Collaborate with HR to address payroll-related issues
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- 1-2 years of experience in a payroll or administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in Excel, with exceptional data entry skills
- Ability to work long hours for 2-3 months during peak payroll periods
- Reliability and dependability are crucial for this role
- Open to short-term assignments
