Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area, CA Hays Full time

Hays has partnered with an established residential home builder who is seeking a Superintendent for 4-6 storey wood-frame apartments in Calgary.


Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities

- Ensure that the project is completed within the given timeline and budget

- Supervise construction personnel, including subcontractors and vendors

- Ensure that all work is done in compliance with all safety regulations and building codes

- Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the construction process

- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process


Requirements:

- Has overseen 2+ 4-6 storey wood frame apartment projects years of experience as a Superintendent

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
