Position Overview

As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our billing and payment systems. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst with experience in commercial banking and billing processes, who is ready to drive financial accuracy, enhance automated payment solutions, and support data-driven decision-making within a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Billing and Payment Management: Oversee the posting of payments across multiple channels, ensuring correct application to accounts and invoices. Set up automatic payment options and initiate collections as needed for unpaid invoices.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly balance and reconcile accounts to uphold financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Special Pricing Setup: Configure and manage bundled, consolidated, and custom pricing arrangements, ensuring alignment with negotiated terms.
  • Transaction Processing: Process daily financial transactions, service requests, and customer queries in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Billing Analysis: Investigate and resolve billing anomalies by analyzing transaction data, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external clients to meet business objectives, address processing issues, and ensure compliance with policy standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis to uncover trends and provide actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Document Management: Maintain secure and organized financial documents according to organizational policies.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in commercial banking, focusing on billing processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (data analysis and pivot tables).


  • Preferred Tools: Experience with Monarch software is advantageous.
