Job Title - Sr Cybersecurity Forensics Specialist

Location - Canada, Remote

Role Type - Contract, 6 months

Must-Have Skills

  • Must have one or more active certifications such as CFCE, EnCE, IACIS, ACE, GIAC, or a similar vendor certification.
  • Must have experience with EDR cybersecurity solutions, network technologies (routers, firewalls, SIEMs), and Identity Access/Authentication.
  • Must have hands-on experience in corporate Incident Response, law enforcement investigations, and digital forensic evidence seizure.
  • Must be proficient in disassembling and reassembling electronic devices, understanding hard drive and cell phone architecture, and have advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be highly proficient in English (oral and written), with English as a first language preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Forensic Investigations – Conduct host-based analysis, acquire digital evidence, and handle device disassembly.
  • Incident Response – Investigate security breaches, analyze EDR/SIEM logs, and support legal cases.
  • Technical Analysis – Perform data recovery, malware analysis, and troubleshoot forensic issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Create forensic reports, present findings, and stay updated on industry best practices.
