Job Description:

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customers, creating and completing invoicing and estimates, coordinating service appointments, providing support to the Parts Department as required, and providing exceptional customer service.

Wage: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday 8-hour shift

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet incoming customers in a professional manner
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace in all aspects related to the position
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule service work with the foreman’s assistance as required
  • Present to the customer the accurate cost of services to be performed and the expected completion
  • Contact the customers to obtain repair authorization
  • Update work orders with information obtained from technicians
  • Handle billing and invoice processes
  • Keep customers updated as needed regarding ongoing repairs with information given from shop foreman
  • Continuous communication with customers and shop foreman
  • Check and respond to emails and delegate them to the appropriate department
  • Manage shop and field tech bookings and inquiries
  • Maintain inventory of parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability
  • Source and order parts from suppliers, considering cost, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Receive and inspect incoming parts, verifying accuracy and quality
  • Organize, label and manage parts in a systematic manner for easy retrieval
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries, orders, and returns
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including receipts, invoices, and inventory counts
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high attention to detail
