About:

As part of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Program Development Unit (Center of Excellence – COE), the Internal Program Manager's main role will be to act as the internal expert for our OEMs relationships. This will include, among other functions detailed below, the handling of legal documentation, standardize needs analysis and communication methods with manufacturers, analyze client needs to offer the most complete and customized solution, provide marketing tools to vendors and manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Program legal documentation, amendments and updates.
  • Work on new OEM program credit approval for the floorplan portion.
  • In collaboration with the SFE team, develop appropriate results tracking tools.
  • Establish an operational rhythm with the division VPs and Team Leaders on program results (per dealer) to address any questions, discussion concerns, improvement possibility, etc.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, build standard program presentation template to be shared with OEM and dealers (Retail and Floorplan).
  • Proceed with market research on new OEMs in Canada and in the US and coordinate first approach/meetings with COE Leader.
  • Support COE Leader and External Program Manager in business development efforts.
  • Work on active OEMs annual credit renewal.
  • Organize monthly discussion to present results to AMs covering dealers within each program to share success stories, address gaps, find opportunities, etc.
  • Master the subsidy request process and assist the team, the dealers and the OEMs with any needs related to it.
  • Prepare monthly OEM portfolio reviews to be shared with the Senior Leadership Team including performance (results, delinquency, etc.) and business development activities.

The profile we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment finance.
  • Experience in relationship management with manufacturers and/or sales force effectiveness.
  • Bilingual (English and French) to serve clients from all Canadian provinces (an asset).
  • Financial and business analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Action and results oriented.
