Join the ELCC department as a substitute instructor. Candidates will be trained on specific sub lesson plans and facilitate in person classes when the lead instructor is absent.

This exciting role offers the perfect opportunity to gain experience in an adult classroom, engage with ELCC concepts, and foster a fun and interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive classes based on detailed lesson plans.
  • Review and present PowerPoints, lead discussions, and coordinate activities and games.
  • Assist students with their online studies, ensuring they grasp key concepts and stay on track with their learning.

Requirements:

  • Ability to facilitate a group of adult learners.
  • Understanding of adult learning concepts.
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and energy for teaching and engaging with students.

Availability:

  • On-call, as-needed shifts with a minimum of 8 hours per month.
  • Must be available Monday to Friday evenings from 5-9 PM to cover classes.
  • Some weekend event or training shifts will be required.
