Quality Control Associate

Job Description: As a Quality Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the established quality standards before they are released to customers. You will work closely with the Quality Control team to perform various testing procedures and inspections throughout the production process. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting routine inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  2. Performing physical and chemical tests using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  3. Recording and analyzing test results accurately and maintaining detailed records of quality control activities.
  4. Identifying and documenting deviations from established quality standards and assisting in the investigation of root causes.
  5. Participating in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  6. Collaborating with other departments, such as production and engineering, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  7. Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  8. Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the laboratory.
  9. Correlation with outsource labs.
  10. Performing EM Monitoring, procedures and protocols.
  11. Write QC SOP's
  12. Dealing with USP Methods


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a quality control or laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
